Aaron is a former academic at Parsons School of Design who taught statistics and data visualization for nearly 20 years, but is now quite happy to be working with and teaching clay. He is a functional potter who works mostly on the wheel and incorporates handbuilt and slipcast components. He’s happiest making pots with lids, and only recently fell out of hate with making handles. He mostly works out of his home studio nearby, but teaches at Mud to be a part of the vibrant community and talented potters who learn and make here.
