Although I like a rounder Large loop tool, I like the grip of these tools. They wash well (cause they are plastic) and I love the wire to cut pots off bat (NOT TO CUT CLAY). The thin wire takes off less clay!

For super skinny or big pots, these sticks help extend your arm to “get down there” I like the Kemper ones cause we have had them for years! They never splint or break!

Catch your pot before it flies off the wheel. I always tell my students to secure the top with your hand while trimming. This prevents the chafing! LOL
