Cost: $435 for 8 weeks
Open to students in 7th grade and older. Teens will master the fundamentals of wheel throwing, trimming, and glazing or decorating their fired pieces. Includes Hand Building instructions too.

The entire session lasts 2-2.5 hours
Potter's Wheel Demo & Practice
We'll start with a detailed demonstration of the potter's wheel, then it's your turn! Everyone gets 5 attempts to throw on the wheel and create something special. Remember: the wheel is challenging (we'll be there to help you every step of the way!), so focus on enjoying the creative process.
Choose Your Keepers
Select your 3 favorite pieces to keep and pick your glaze colors. Glazing & Pickup We'll handle the trimming, glazing, and firing.
Your finished creations will be ready for pickup in approximately 5 weeks!

Open to students in 14 years and older.
Cost: $90 per person

The Japanese art of repairing broken pottery. If a bowl is broken, rather than discarding the pieces, the fragments are put back and the cracks are adorned with gold.
Guest Instructor Tara DeLuca will lead you in connecting with a bowl (provided by us), breaking it, confronting the damage and taking ownership of the pieces that remain by glueing them back together. No experience necessary.

The cylinder is the basic skill for most forms we create. We are often too quick to jump ahead without teaching our body and brain how to make the perfect cylinder. Sign up for this cylinder intensive. Attempt to throw 8 to 10 PERFECT cylinders…(yeah right).
MUST KNOW BASIC STEPS OF THROWING A POT! (You don’t have to be good at those steps.) This is not a “from scratch” class! We will be timing and challenging ourselves.

You will get to keep 4 cylinders. Subsequent pots would be 6 cents/cubic inch for members or 10-18 cents/ cubic inch for non members, (depending on which glaze you use.)
