Hand Building Camps

Mud Clay Studio Hand Building Camps are designed for artists entering 2nd grade or above. (We’ve found that they need to be at least 7 years old to enjoy taking the time to create pieces that will make it through the delicate firing process.)

Each themed week (Mon-Fri) will feature several projects made using basic methods such as coiling, flattening slabs, and pinching, as well as adding textures, glazes, and other materials. Fees include Mud Clay Studio T-shirt, light snacks, water, and creations that will last a lifetime! (Please bring a refillable water bottle)

Projects will be ready for pickup approximately 5 weeks later, and you will receive an email when they are ready. Please pick up your projects within 3 months of the end of camp!

What happens if I register but can’t attend? Our REFUND POLICY is as following:

Reschedule or cancel 7 or more days before the beginning of the registered camp week, you can change weeks with no fee (depending on availability) or receive a full refund.

Withdraw 3-6 days before the beginning of the registered week, A $75 cancellation fee will be applied and you can either receive a credit towards fall classes or switch camp weeks (depending on availability).

If you withdraw fewer than 3 days ahead, a $75 cancellation fee will be applied, and you will not receive credit or be able to switch weeks. (You are welcome to give your spot to another child if you let us know their name and contact info.)
