What’s the Difference?
Daily Handbuilding Sessions allow you to make whatever you can dream up!
Weekend Workshops provide extra guidance and inspiration, with a new project available every week!
Appointments are preferred.
Both Handbuilding Sessions and Weekend Workshops are
Approximately 1 hour 15 min
$40 per project, Ages 7+ (includes up to 2 lbs of clay). Payment is due when you make your reservation.
Need more clay? Add extra at $5 per ½ lb.
At the end of your session, you can choose to:
Have the studio dip-glaze your piece in a color combo of your choice (included)
Return to paint it yourself with our full color selection (+$40)
Ready for pickup in about 5 weeks.
Clay can be unpredictable — we can't guarantee every piece will survive the firing process perfectly. But the fun is in making it! To make an appointment, scroll down and choose the location you would like to attend.
Need inspiration? Check out ideas on Pinterest! You can also try searching "pinch pots," "coil pots," or "hand building clay projects." Just remember, some designs you see online may be too complicated for your single session.

Handbuilding Appointments

It starts with a ball of clay...
Hand Building is when you create pottery without using a wheel, more like sculpting! It's hands-on, creative, and a great way to make something totally unique.
Recommended for ages 7 and up
Adults are welcome to create on their own, or to be there for someone else as moral support.
Ages 5–6 may need a lot of parental help and may lose interest quickly
Not ideal for artists under age 5

Reserving with a Gift Card? Enter the number at checkout.
Your gift certificate doesn’t have a number? You can make a reservation for any additional artists (or choose artist with a credit) and put your information in the notes section at checkout.
You may cancel or reschedule up to 6 hours before your session.
Late cancellations may prevent others from booking a spot.
There is a $10 cancellation fee.
