Clay Artist | Teacher
Hannah loves how clay can be such a creative outlet, that can be both inspiring and humbling at the same time. Since Hannah works from her home studio which is close by to the Montclair Mud studio, she reached out to introduce herself in case any opportunities had opened up. She started with teaching the teen wheel throwing camps. Now she's excited to be teaching a teen wheel class this fall.
It’s important to have a clay community because there’s always something you can learn from someone else. The collaborative environment often encourages more creativity and new ideas naturally come about.
Hannah Mir loves creating things with her hands and really enjoys being a ceramic artist and teacher. She likes exploring the possibilities of clay and creating pieces that are both beautiful and functional. She is passionate about her craft and her love for nature is present in many of her creations, which often feature earthy tones. She also loves experimenting with new ways to do things with ceramics and enjoys sharing her passion and knowledge with all her students that she teaches.
